Wastewater Discharge Permit
Utility Solutions has an approved domestic wastewater discharge permit under permit number MTX000110 from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. Utility Solutions discharges treated effluent to ground water through approved infiltration percolation cells located in the Elk Grove Subdivision and rapid infiltration beds located south of the Northstar Subdivision. Utility Solutions monitors the wastewater effluent monthly for flow rate, total suspended solids, biological oxygen demand, fecal coliform bacteria, chloride, total phosphorus, nitrate + nitrite, ammonia, total kjeldahl nitrogen, and total nitrogen.

Sludge Disposal Permit
Utility Solutions has an approved sewage sludge disposal permit under permit number MTG650000 from the Environmental Protection Agency. Utility Solutions is authorized to dispose of sludge by means of land application, landfill, and surface disposal in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
